Rooted and Grounded Meditation
Feeling rooted to the Earth, grounded and present, and centered in your whole being allows you to connect more fully with others as well as with the natural power in your whole being. When we chronically live through our minds and in our heads, we often feel disconnected from our bodies and the wisdom, connection, and power latent in the lower parts of our being. In this meditation, the focus is on breath work and imagery to bring your attention and energy into the lower part of your body to encourage feeling more rooted, grounded and centered both in your body and on the Earth. You might use this meditation to help you expand your awareness to be able to attend to both what's happening within you as well as around you.
