What is Codependency and what can we do about it?
Co-dependency has become a term that we often use or toss about but don’t truly understand exactly what it means or what it’s all about. Co-dependency, a complex topic, affects many people in families where addiction, narcissism and other dysfunctional or mental health issues exist. Pixie Hamilton and I dig in and share our personal stories of recovering from co-dependency, how it impacted our relationships and self-esteem, and how we continue to work with its tendencies in our lives today after decades of personal development.
Some highlights in the podcast are what motivates co-dependency, why it's hard to change, tips to help identify whether you might be struggling with co-dependency and then how to approach change.
